Perimeter Security Systems

Secure Your Property From the Outside In

Request a Perimeter Security Assessment

Security that starts at the fence line is more effective than security that starts at the front door. Diego Tech designs perimeter security systems that detect, deter and document activity at the boundaries of your property before a threat reaches your building. Exterior camera systems, gate access integration, fencing sensors and property-wide coverage planning, all engineered for the specific terrain and operational requirements of your facility.

We hold an Arizona ROC contractor license and design perimeter systems for commercial properties, agricultural operations and residential communities throughout Arizona.

Perimeter Security Services

Exterior Camera Systems

Camera coverage designed for outdoor environments, with lighting variability, wide coverage angles and the specific challenges of outdoor mounting at a property's perimeter. We specify cameras for the viewing distance and lighting conditions at each location, whether that means a parking lot, a fence line, a loading dock or a rural property boundary. All footage integrates with your NVR or cloud recording infrastructure.

Gate Access Integration

Vehicle and pedestrian gate systems with access control integration: card readers, keypad entry, remote release and camera coverage at the gate point. We install gate controllers and integrate them with your broader access control infrastructure so any gate entry is logged alongside building access in a unified access management system.

Perimeter Detection and Fencing Sensors

Detection technology at the fence or property boundary adds an alert layer before a threat reaches the building. Perimeter detection systems can trigger camera recording, alarm responses or monitoring notifications when activity is detected at your boundaries, giving your team early warning of an intrusion attempt.

Property-Wide Security Design

A perimeter security system is only as good as its design. We assess your property during a site survey, map camera coverage requirements against the actual terrain, identify gaps in existing coverage and produce a perimeter design before specifying any components. This is especially important for large or irregular properties where coverage gaps are not obvious from a floor plan.

Properties We Design Perimeter Security For

Perimeter security requirements vary significantly by property type. A commercial office park has different vulnerabilities than an agricultural operation or a residential community. Diego Tech designs for the actual environment.

  • Commercial and Industrial Properties: Warehouses, distribution centers and manufacturing facilities with large perimeters, multiple access points and after-hours vulnerability. Coverage typically includes fence lines, parking areas, loading docks and exterior building walls
  • Agricultural Operations: Facilities spread across large acreage with multiple buildings, equipment storage areas and perimeter boundaries that are impractical to monitor with traditional guard patrols. Remote monitoring capability is often essential for these deployments, and coverage is designed for the specific irrigation, storage and processing areas that represent the highest value
  • Residential Communities and HOAs: Community gate access with camera coverage at entry points, perimeter coverage along community boundaries and access logs for vehicle and pedestrian entry
  • Construction Sites: Temporary perimeter coverage for job sites where equipment and material theft is a primary risk. We can combine fixed perimeter cameras with mobile surveillance units for flexible, temporary deployments
  • Government and Institutional Facilities: Controlled perimeters with access logging requirements, integration with visitor management and documentation for compliance

Designing for Arizona's Environmental Conditions

Arizona's heat, sun exposure and dust create specific demands for outdoor security equipment. Cameras, sensors and gate hardware must be specified for the operating temperature range, direct sun exposure on south and west-facing installations, and dust and particulate conditions in agricultural and desert environments.

We specify equipment rated for Arizona's climate and design mounting and cable infrastructure that accounts for thermal expansion, UV degradation and the maintenance access requirements of remote outdoor installations. Systems that work reliably in these conditions require component selection and installation detail that goes beyond what indoor or moderate-climate installations require.

Mobile Surveillance for Temporary Perimeter Coverage

When a fixed perimeter system is not practical, such as for construction sites, temporary staging areas or events, mobile surveillance units provide immediate perimeter coverage without permanent installation. Our Mobile Surveillance Units page covers that option in detail. For properties with permanent perimeter needs, our Surveillance Camera Systems and Access Control pages cover the fixed infrastructure side. contact us

Start With a Perimeter Security Assessment.

We'll walk your property, identify the coverage gaps in your current perimeter, and show you exactly what a properly designed system should include. There's no obligation to buy, but we do provide clarity on where your property is exposed and what it would take to close those gaps.
