About Diego Tech

Diego Tech was founded in Yuma, Arizona in 2004 by Diego Villapudua. What started as a technology services company for local businesses has grown into one of Arizona's few providers delivering both managed IT and physical security under a single roof. Over 22 years later, that is still the point: your business shouldn't need two separate vendors, two separate contracts and two separate conversations to cover both sides of its security posture.

From Break-Fix to Full Partner

The company Diego started in 2004 looked like most small IT shops of that era: something breaks, you call, we fix it, you pay. That model works until you realize it doesn't actually protect anyone. It only responds after damage is done.

Over the following years, Diego Tech shifted. Our business transitioned from reactive repair to proactive managed services. Instead of waiting for calls, we started monitoring client systems continuously, patching vulnerabilities before they became incidents, and planning technology infrastructure rather than patching it together after the fact.

At the same time, the physical security side of our business expanded. What began with camera installations grew into full system design and engineering: surveillance, access control, alarm systems, structured cabling, active shooter lockdown systems for schools and mobile surveillance units for construction sites and remote operations. Today Diego Tech holds an Arizona ROC license and has completed projects for school districts, Marine bases, Department of Defense contractors, agricultural operations and businesses across the state.

What We Believe

Most business owners don't want to think about IT and security. They want those problems handled. They want to open their business in the morning, work without interruption, and go home at the end of the day without wondering whether their network is compromised or their facility is vulnerable.

The combination of managed IT and physical security under one provider is genuinely uncommon. Most IT companies don't hold a contractor's license for physical security installations. Most physical security installers don't provide managed IT, cybersecurity or compliance support.

Where We Work

Diego Tech is headquartered in Yuma and serves businesses across Arizona. IT and managed services are available statewide with on-site support, and remote IT support extends to clients nationwide. Physical security installations are Arizona only, in compliance with our ROC license.
