We spec, source and configure firewalls that match your actual needs rather than defaulting to whatever ships fastest.

Switches & Routers

Managed switches, unmanaged switches and routing equipment for every environment. We specify port counts, PoE capacity for cameras and access points, and VLAN support based on your network design. Configuration is done before the equipment ships to your site wherever possible.

Access point selection and placement depend on your space, the number of devices connecting, and whether you need separate SSIDs for staff, guests and IoT devices. We spec access points as part of the overall network design rather than as standalone purchases.

UPS battery backups, monitors, docking stations, printers and other supporting hardware. We source peripherals that are compatible with your existing environment and handle the setup as part of the overall deployment.

 

More Than a Purchase Order

IT procurement at Diego Tech is not a transaction. It's part of the overall service. When we recommend equipment, we already know your network, your security requirements and your growth plans. The hardware we specify fits into that context rather than arriving as a standalone box that needs to be figured out.

Configuration happens before deployment. Switches arrive preconfigured with your VLANs and port assignments. Workstations arrive with your standard image, applications and security tools already in place. Firewalls arrive with rules already reviewed. The goal is that new equipment is online and working the day it arrives, not a week later.

We also handle lifecycle management. Most business hardware has a useful life of three to five years for workstations and five to seven years for servers and networking equipment. We track what you have, flag devices approaching end-of-life and help you plan replacement cycles so nothing fails without warning.

 

Why Vendor-Agnostic Matters

Many IT vendors push specific brands because they have preferred partner relationships or better margins on certain product lines. That creates a conflict between what's best for you and what's best for the vendor.
